Flip Potty Trainers are a unique pull-up, pull-down, snap-off, one-size potty training system made with replaceable one-size pads. The outer shell is made of PUL and has detachable tabs made of the same stretchy material we use for the tabs on all Flip and bumGenius products. The tabs attach with snaps. The replaceable one-size soakers are made of six layers of organic cotton jersey (the same fabric used to make Flip organic cotton inserts). The soakers attach to the shell using ultra-soft loop fabric.

I've been using our new trainer almost a week now. We use it exclusively at night on my 2.5 yr old. We had been using a BG 4.0 with one big and one little insert and he usually soaked those every night, sometimes soaked through them. I am happy to report that one of these inserts holds it all! He's waking up early b/c he's really wet, but it does hold it all. My guy is 40lbs, 38in, so he's big and these look a little small on him snapped down for a correct fit, but they work. It's a little hard for him to get them up and down on his own because they aren't as stretchy as his underwear, but he'll get there. Mine have the laundry tabs and wash well with my BG's. I was concerned the first day I just rinsed the cover b/c it still smelled like pee (his pee stinks), but after drying for the day it was fine. Overall I think this is a good nighttime option since we outgrew the BG's. Thanks cottonbabies!

I like these so far. I was concerned after reading reviews that said they had no laundry tabs, but all of the ones I received do have them, so they must have fixed that. The inserts are thin and trim, and surprisingly very absorbent. My only real complaint is that it doesn't fit my 2 year old very well, but he is very tall and only 23lbs, so its understandable. I do wish there was an option to choose which color side panels you want, because the "neutral" color combos are very limited, and I have a newborn girl and want to use the same trainers for her.

Got my first trainer today. So far, I'm quite pleased. Have not tried the inserts yet, but I plan to try to use the pull up covers as a transitional diaper for my big 22 month old. She is tall and weighs about 33 pounds. She is currently wearing the flip pull on as a cover with a quad-folded hemp flat. Seems to work well, and she loves that she can pull it up. Will try it again tonight with my son for overnight. He is 43 pounds, 4 years and a night wetter. Will be stuffing it with 2 bumGenius inserts in a homemade insert sock. Seemed to fit well when we tried it out earlier. I am hopeful this will help us save money on throw away pull-ups and transition the little girl to pull-ups, bumGenius style! My basket is already bursting with a bigger order.

We've loved our flips diapers for both kids. These look like a good design. I was hopeful that these would fit the bill for our teeny tiny little girl; but, they're way too big for my 22 lb two year old. That being said, she has worn them with pants to hold them up and they've contained accidents well. She also likes that they're "big girl" pants that she can pull on and off.

Fantastic!! We love our new flip trainers! My son is 21 months long and very lean, he wears them on the smallest snap setting. We are not actually potty training yet...we were using our BG aio's, but he suddenly has become a super soaker and changing him every hour was not enough..I decided we'd do something different. I am surprised at how much these thin inserts hold! He isnt big enough to pull them up by himself..but he can slip them off. So as soon as he pee's, he pushes them down and I replace the insert. No more wet lap for me. We have not had a single leak,even when he's too busy to notice he is wet and take it off. Also wanted to note that my 4.5 year old can fit well in them too. She can pull them up and down easily and the snaps do not come undone.

I wanted to love these so much, but they just have too many cons for me. No laundry tabs for the velcro, and the pull up itself doesn't fit well. It's too loose around where the snaps to adjust the size are. We have had major leaks every single time, and I have fitted it to my little girl as well as I can. (Average size child) The inserts are not very absorbent, causing the potty to leak out. I bought these for night time and nap time, and have had to change sheets every night. I added a bumgenius newborn insert into this instead of buying the disposable inserts like they recommend, (what's the point of cloth if you have to buy something else regularly to go with it??) but it didn't help. Maybe the disposable inserts would make it all perfect, but I just can't afford to buy those for every night. Will be calling ot return them all today=(

Update to previous review. My toddler used it for 4 days so far and she is able to pull it up and down pretty well. She's 25lbs and I use smallest setting up and for waist I also use the smallest setting. She was using Imse Vimse underwear before which was not so good for the poop accidents. The flip trainers are more trim between the legs than the regular flips (the inserts are also trimmer) so it is nice that the trainers are less bulky than a regular diaper. The hook velcro tabs inside the trainers were a problem for me for the first wash (in theory it looked like it shouldn't be because hook velcro was covered by a pul flap that was longer than the usual flip diaper cover. Yet after it tumbles around in the washer somehow the fabric flap inside finds a way at the seam to get caught on the hook velcro inside. It did not destroy my trainers but it did teach me to leave the insert in the trainer cover when washing them. After that I had no problems, but I think that should be in the washing instructions.

A bit disappointed. No laundry tabs, so the velcro shredded it up. I have been waiting for trainers from cottonbabies for a long time, I found other trainers but they just would leak, so I was excited for these. She wears it during nap and bedtime, she hasn't pee/pooped yet these last few nights so I would know about absorbancy.

I prewashed covers and inserts as directed, very disappointed the covers came out of the washer kind of "ragged." Turns out that there are NO laundry tabs inside, so the "hooks" caught some of the cover fabric making it pill. This is, in my opinion, a serious design flaw and really needs to be remedied. I am really afraid to wash them with any of my other BG 4.0 which are in perfect condition (no velcro). On the plus side, the inserts are very absorbent and trim.

Just got these in the mail today. LOVE the new mirror and sassy color. The Dazzle isn't as gender neutral looking as I thought it would be. I wish it was a darker purple, but it is very pretty. Haven't gotten to use the trainers yet so this is really more of a review on the colors

My toddler is trying out his new trainers right now! I ordered Grasshopper with ribbit tabs and moonbean with dazzle tabs. Still waiting on my mirror to come, i ordered that one at a later time. Can't wait to see that color. I LOVE that the tabs are a different color! I just love the dazzle tabs on the moonbean it looks great together! They fit great, my almost 2 year old is big, he's about 30lbs and 34inches. He wears 2t clothes perfectly and he is on the smallest side snaps and the Medium setting. I can't comment on how much they hold yet, but i will update when i know about that. I just wanted to say how cute they were and I personally LOVE the tabs being a different color. And thanks for the early ship date!

I was excited to get my trainers early in the mail today. I got the ribbit color and they look similar to the flip diapers except a little more narrow in width. They look fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was not having matching tab colors. I felt a little annoyed being forced to spend an extra $5.95 to buy the ribbit tabs to match because the white ones it came with makes it not look like a continuous underwear. Other than that loved the training pants!

Im looking forward to the new trainers also. I love the Flip system, but like many other reviews, I don't like the mixed colors. That should only be an option if you want variety. Maybe by the time they arrive in stock you can have that changed. Thanks

I have not used these yet, but we will definitely be ordering several. I am very excited about these. We tried Antsy Pants and they leak and do not fit our child well. So we have been using disposable Pull-ups. I love the colors but wish we could order them in sold colors. I don't like the color combos, they seem strange and we like things streamlined. We have 80 BG AIO's and 1 Flip. I cannot wait to add to our stash with the potty trainers! Thank you, Cottonbabies, you are genius!

I am very excited about this product! I can't wait for it to come out! I love the design. It's much more economical than other training pants I have seen because you can reuse the cover and only need to purchase additional inserts. Many of the color combos are strange, though. I do not like being forced to buy additional side panels to avoid color combos I find ugly or wrong gender. It would be nice if we could order our own combos.

LOVE Flips!!! ~Was just thinking yesterday... wish this Flip were a trainer and was thinking about modifying it! Can't wait to try these out - I really wish we had the option of the flip cover being the same color as the detachable tab.... love the variety, don't get me wrong, just wish we were able to buy the set with the same color, if we desired too... the only drawback so far....
